Harmony Hill Quest Retreat
Harmony Hill QUEST Retreat is a retreat for adults. QUEST stands for Question, Understand, Evaluate, and Seize Truth. In our culture, we are constantly presented with competing truth claims, ethical situations, and either apathy or hostility toward Christianity and the gospel. QUEST Retreat aims to help adults (ages 18 and up*) deepen their faith by loving God with their hearts, souls, and minds.
For Quest Retreat 2025, the theme is “Practical Holiness for Today”
Date: February 28 - March 2nd, 2025
Ages: 18+
Teens: Teens are welcome to be a part of the retreat as long as they attend with a parent or guardian. No unaccompanied minors may attend.
Children: Children’s activities are provided by Carol Avery from toddler to age 12. Children’s sessions will focus on their identity in Christ.
Speakers and Worship:
Rev. Dr. Jim “Umfundisi” Lo;
Served as a pastor and then as a missionary for 13 years in Southern Africa where he was involved in church planting, teaching, writing, and editing the Regional magazine, Ikhwezi.
Dr. Lo also served two years as Missionary Director in Cambodia. Jim for 28 years served at Indiana Wesleyan University as a professor in the School of Theology and Ministry and Campus Intercessor.
He is now living in El Dorado Springs, MO and is the new director of Church of God (Holiness) World Missions.
Jim wrote a study titled GOD'S CALL TO HOLINESS. It has been translated into 8 languages and is being used in 9 countries.
Jim has been married to Roxene since 1976. For hobbies, Jim enjoys running (he has run numerous half and full marathons), cycling, drawing, and writing.
